23rd Aug 2013: Filled with unforgettable memories

I was granted permission to be present at the birth and even allowed to take photographs, so I was fully prepared and eagerly awaiting the moment. However, our daughter was reluctant to come out, and an emergency C-section became necessary. Naturally, I was no longer allowed to be in the delivery room and had to wait in a separate area. After about an hour, a nurse handed me a small slip of paper and said warmly, “Congratulations. Both mother and baby are doing well.” I had hoped to capture the emotional moment of birth with my camera, but instead, I photographed that piece of paper.
