Tower Bridge Tower Bridge is a bascule bridge spanning the River Thames in London, completed in 1894. Designed in a Gothic style, the central section of the bridge can be raised to allow ships to pass through. The bridge is approximately 244 meters long and is also a popular tourist attraction. Its towers house a museum, offering visitors a chance to enjoy stunning views of London. At night, the bridge is illuminated, creating a striking and memorable sight. When it was first built, it helped alleviate traffic congestion and played a key role in supporting London's development. Located in Kensington, London, the Victoria and Albert Museum (commonly known as the V&A) was founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. It is one of the world’s largest museums dedicated to decorative arts and design. Originally established as the “Museum of Manufactures” and later the “Museum of Ornamental Art,” its creation was inspired by the success of the Great Exhibition of 1851. The current Renaissance-style building was completed in 1909. The museum’s V&A Café, opened in 1868, holds the distinction of being the world’s first museum café.
