I had never visited the Tokyo Skytree before, so I went there with my family. Rising to a height of 634 meters, the Skytree is the tallest freestanding broadcasting tower in the world and has served as a new symbol of Tokyo since its opening in 2012. The ginkgo-lined avenue of Meiji Jingu Gaien is one of Tokyo’s most iconic autumn landscapes. Located in Kita-Aoyama, Minato Ward, the avenue stretches approximately 300 meters toward the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery, flanked by four orderly rows of ginkgo trees - 146 in total. Selected as the official tree of Tokyo, the ginkgo holds a distinguished presence as a street tree, admired for its graceful form and resilience.
