​St. Vitus Cathedral ​​​​​​​​​​St. Vitus Cathedral is located in the center of Prague Castle and is the most important church in the Czech Republic and a symbol of the country. St. Vitus Cathedral has a long history. In the 930s, the Romanesque St. Vitus Church was built. This church became the most famous church in Prague and became the bishop's church in 973. In 1096, a 70m long and 35m wide church was built. In 1344, the Pope appointed Charles IV as Archbishop of Prague and began building a cathedral to establish the capital of the new Holy Roman Empire and the Kingdom of Bohemia.  The first architect was a French architect named Matthias of Arras. After his death, the church was continued by a German architect named Parlège Petr. About half of the current cathedral was built in the 14th century. Charles Bridge​   ​Charles Bridge is one of Prague's most popular tourist spots and a World Heritage Site. It was built in 1357 by Charles IV of the Holy Roman Empire. This bridge, which spans the Moldau River, attracts tourists from all over the world every day due to its deep history and magnificent appearance.​ Charles Bridge is the oldest bridge still standing in Prague and the second oldest stone bridge in the Czech Republic. It is a beautiful bridge with graceful arches, with a total length of about 520m and a width of about 10m. Not only is the bridge itself magnificent and beautiful, but it is also a scenic spot where you can see Prague Castle beautifully. Its history dates back to the Middle Century, when the original bridge was destroyed in a great flood in 1342, so a new bridge had to be built. ​A Masterpiece of Art Nouveau and a Historic Landmark ​​Located in Prague's Old Town, the Municipal House (Obecní dům) is one of the finest examples of Art Nouveau architecture in the Czech Republic. It holds significant historical and cultural importance, having been constructed between 1905 and 1912. The building is renowned for its luxurious decorations and exquisite design, with its breathtaking mosaics on the exterior and meticulously crafted artistic details within.​​ ​​​The site where the Municipal House now stands was once home to the Royal Court Palace, the residence of Bohemian kings. However, after its demolition in the 17th century, the area remained undeveloped for a long time. In the early 20th century, plans for a new cultural center emerged, and architects Antonín Balšánek and Osvald Polívka were entrusted with its design.
