/Home › › The Saraswati Temple The Saraswati Temple (Pura Taman Saraswati) is a lovely temple located in the center of Ubud, Bali, known for its deep connection to water and the arts.  It was designed in the 1950s by the celebrated Balinese architect I Gusti Nyoman Lempad, commissioned by the Ubud royal family, and dedicated to Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, art, and wisdom.  The temple’s signature feature is its expansive lotus pond, which stretches along both sides of the walkway.
