12th Aug 2012: Churaumi Aquarium in Okinawa

Churaumi Aquarium, located in Motobu Town, Okinawa Prefecture, is a world-renowned facility that has been showcasing Okinawa's rich marine environment to countless visitors since its opening in 2002.

Its main attraction is the enormous tank known as the Kuroshio Sea, which holds approximately 7,500 cubic meters of water and allows guests to observe marine life such as whale sharks and manta rays up close through an underwater tunnel.

Additionally, the aquarium offers interactive exhibits and educational programs that highlight the importance of marine ecosystems and environmental conservation. In collaboration with the Okinawa Ocean Expo Park, it further promotes the overall allure of the region.

The photos taken with the E-5 were by me, and those with the E-620 were by my wife.
