Manzamo, located in Onna Village, Okinawa Prefecture, is a renowned tourist destination where dramatic cliffs overlooking the East China Sea harmoniously blend with history. It is said that the site was named by Ryukyu King, who admired the scenery, thereby evoking an air of ancient charm and mystery.​
 
​​In particular, the unique rock formation at the tip of the cliff, which resembles an elephant's trunk, creates a striking contrast against the blue sea and the glow of the setting sun, making it a popular spot for photography. Furthermore, with well-equipped observation facilities and shops, as well as its convenient location approximately a one-hour drive from Naha Airport to Manzamo is ideal for a day trip.​​
 
​Additionally, the surrounding area offers attractions such as beaches where visitors can enjoy snorkeling and diving, allowing many to fully experience the rich natural beauty and culture of Okinawa.

There’s a Starbucks in Rancho Palos Verdes (Los Angeles, CA) that I will never forget. Nestled right in front of the vast Pacific Ocean, it offers a breathtaking view that makes every sip of coffee feel like a moment of peace.  What made it truly special were the evenings—watching the sun slowly sink into the horizon, painting the ocean in shades of crimson and gold. I remember sitting there, completely immersed in the beauty, feeling time gently slow down. It’s been nearly twenty years since that visit, but the memory remains vivid in my heart. Mitarai Keikoku located in Tenkawa Village, Nara Prefecture, is a nature-rich valley that becomes beautifully adorned with vibrant autumn foliage each year.  The best time to view the fall colors is typically from early to mid-November. During this season, the emerald-green streams, cascading waterfalls of various sizes, and the vivid reds and yellows of the trees create a truly breathtaking landscape. Well-maintained walking trails and suspension bridges allow visitors to enjoy the harmony of waterfalls and autumn leaves as they stroll through the gorge. In particular, the view from the suspension bridge—looking down at the waterfall framed by colorful foliage—and the reflections of the leaves on the crystal-clear water are especially popular among photography enthusiasts.
