Manzamo, located in Onna Village, Okinawa Prefecture, is a renowned tourist destination where dramatic cliffs overlooking the East China Sea harmoniously blend with history. It is said that the site was named by Ryukyu King, who admired the scenery, thereby evoking an air of ancient charm and mystery.​
 
​​In particular, the unique rock formation at the tip of the cliff, which resembles an elephant's trunk, creates a striking contrast against the blue sea and the glow of the setting sun, making it a popular spot for photography. Furthermore, with well-equipped observation facilities and shops, as well as its convenient location approximately a one-hour drive from Naha Airport to Manzamo is ideal for a day trip.​​
 
​Additionally, the surrounding area offers attractions such as beaches where visitors can enjoy snorkeling and diving, allowing many to fully experience the rich natural beauty and culture of Okinawa.

During this season, the emerald-green streams, cascading waterfalls of various sizes, and the vivid reds and yellows of the trees create a truly breathtaking landscape. Well-maintained walking trails and suspension bridges allow visitors to enjoy the harmony of waterfalls and autumn leaves as they stroll through the gorge.
