Tanaka Farms, a Japanese-American family-owned farm located in Irvine near Los Angeles, offers a popular strawberry‑picking tour that has become a beloved spring tradition. Situated about an hour's drive south of downtown Los Angeles, the farm is well‑known for being operated by the Tanaka family, who originally immigrated from Japan. It is also a favorite destination for families.

The strawberry‑picking experience is conducted as a guided tour, during which visitors ride on a wagon pulled by a tractor to the fields. Along the way, participants can also enjoy harvesting seasonal vegetables. 

As the guide provides explanations during the tour, guests can learn about the farm while traveling through the fields. Once they arrive at the strawberry patch, visitors are free to pick fully ripened, bright‑red strawberries and enjoy them on the spot. 

Each participant may take home one container of freshly picked strawberries, whose natural sweetness is especially delightful. Our family found the tour to be both enjoyable and delicious — truly a memorable experience.

There’s a Starbucks in Rancho Palos Verdes (Los Angeles, CA) that I will never forget. Sainte-Chapelle is a stunning Gothic-style chapel located on Île de la Cité in Paris, France. It was built in the 13th century by King Louis IX (Saint Louis) to house sacred relics, including the "Crown of Thorns" of Christ. Originally serving as a royal chapel, it is now world-famous for its breathtaking stained-glass windows. ​​​​​The chapel's most remarkable feature, as you can see in photographs, is its fifteen towering stained glass panels, each reaching a height of 15 meters. These windows depict 1,113 scenes from the Old and New Testaments, with dominant shades of red, blue, and gold that create a mesmerizing play of light throughout the day.
