13th April 2024: Apple flowers of my neighbor

Apple blossoms belong to the rose family, and their flowers are reminiscent of cherry blossoms. They are characterized by five petals and many pistils in the center. 

They bloom from pink buds, and you can enjoy the cute colors of the flowers. Apple blossoms are beautiful flowers that make you feel that spring has arrived. Mainly bloom in April to May.​

This apple tree belongs to my neighbor. At first, I didn't know what kind of tree it was. Even when I took this photo, I wasn’t completely sure it was an apple tree. But when summer came and large apples started to grow, I became certain. The flowers are beautiful to look at, and the fruit is delicious to eat—it's truly wonderful.

There’s a Starbucks in Rancho Palos Verdes (Los Angeles, CA) that I will never forget. Nestled right in front of the vast Pacific Ocean, it offers a breathtaking view that makes every sip of coffee feel like a moment of peace.  What made it truly special were the evenings—watching the sun slowly sink into the horizon, painting the ocean in shades of crimson and gold. I remember sitting there, completely immersed in the beauty, feeling time gently slow down. It’s been nearly twenty years since that visit, but the memory remains vivid in my heart. Among all the Starbucks I’ve ever been to, this one stands above the rest. Mitarai Keikoku located in Tenkawa Village, Nara Prefecture, is a nature-rich valley that becomes beautifully adorned with vibrant autumn foliage each year.  The best time to view the fall colors is typically from early to mid-November. During this season, the emerald-green streams, cascading waterfalls of various sizes, and the vivid reds and yellows of the trees create a truly breathtaking landscape. Well-maintained walking trails and suspension bridges allow visitors to enjoy the harmony of waterfalls and autumn leaves as they stroll through the gorge. In particular, the view from the suspension bridge—looking down at the waterfall framed by colorful foliage—and the reflections of the leaves on the crystal-clear water are especially popular among photography enthusiasts.
