Spending a day touring Cesky Krumlov with a local guide. Although the weather was extremely hot, I was able to capture stunning panoramic views of the town bathed in sunlight. The vivid contrast between the blue sky, the red rooftops, and the lush green trees created a breathtaking scene, making the photography experience truly enjoyable.

Cesky Krumlov is a small town located in the Bohemian region of southern Czech Republic. Despite its modest size, it captivates travelers from around the world with its remarkable beauty and historical significance. In 1992, it was designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, and today it stands as one of the Czech Republic’s most iconic tourist destinations.

The town’s most prominent landmark is Český Krumlov Castle, which dates back to the 13th century. Built within the winding curves of the Vltava River, the castle is the second largest in the country after Prague Castle. Its architecture is a magnificent blend of Renaissance and Baroque styles, preserving the grandeur of centuries past. Inside the castle, visitors can explore elegant gardens, a Baroque theater, and a tower offering panoramic views of the entire town.

The town center retains its medieval charm, with cobblestone streets and colorful facades lining the narrow alleys. Walking through the town feels like stepping back in time. I was so enchanted by the atmosphere that I hope to return someday for an overnight stay and experience the town more leisurely.

There’s a Starbucks in Rancho Palos Verdes (Los Angeles, CA) that I will never forget. Nestled right in front of the vast Pacific Ocean, it offers a breathtaking view that makes every sip of coffee feel like a moment of peace.  What made it truly special were the evenings—watching the sun slowly sink into the horizon, painting the ocean in shades of crimson and gold. I remember sitting there, completely immersed in the beauty, feeling time gently slow down. It’s been nearly twenty years since that visit, but the memory remains vivid in my heart. Among all the Starbucks I’ve ever been to, this one stands above the rest. Mitarai Keikoku located in Tenkawa Village, Nara Prefecture, is a nature-rich valley that becomes beautifully adorned with vibrant autumn foliage each year.  The best time to view the fall colors is typically from early to mid-November. During this season, the emerald-green streams, cascading waterfalls of various sizes, and the vivid reds and yellows of the trees create a truly breathtaking landscape. Well-maintained walking trails and suspension bridges allow visitors to enjoy the harmony of waterfalls and autumn leaves as they stroll through the gorge. In particular, the view from the suspension bridge—looking down at the waterfall framed by colorful foliage—and the reflections of the leaves on the crystal-clear water are especially popular among photography enthusiasts.
