9th Oct 2024: Eiffel Tower from Port Debilly in Paris France

Port Debilly is a riverside port located along the Seine in the Chaillot district of Paris’s 16th arrondissement, between the Alma and Iéna bridges. Its name honors General Jean-Louis Debilly, who fell during the Napoleonic Wars, and it was officially designated in 1905. 

The site features a monument commemorating Robert Fulton’s launch of a steamboat in 1803. Behind it, the Passerelle Debilly pedestrian bridge and the Eiffel Tower create a stunning backdrop, making it a popular photo spot. 

At night, the illuminated Eiffel Tower was truly breathtaking.

There’s a Starbucks in Rancho Palos Verdes (Los Angeles, CA) that I will never forget. Nestled right in front of the vast Pacific Ocean, it offers a breathtaking view that makes every sip of coffee feel like a moment of peace.  What made it truly special were the evenings—watching the sun slowly sink into the horizon, painting the ocean in shades of crimson and gold. I remember sitting there, completely immersed in the beauty, feeling time gently slow down. It’s been nearly twenty years since that visit, but the memory remains vivid in my heart. Mitarai Keikoku located in Tenkawa Village, Nara Prefecture, is a nature-rich valley that becomes beautifully adorned with vibrant autumn foliage each year.  The best time to view the fall colors is typically from early to mid-November. During this season, the emerald-green streams, cascading waterfalls of various sizes, and the vivid reds and yellows of the trees create a truly breathtaking landscape. Well-maintained walking trails and suspension bridges allow visitors to enjoy the harmony of waterfalls and autumn leaves as they stroll through the gorge. In particular, the view from the suspension bridge—looking down at the waterfall framed by colorful foliage—and the reflections of the leaves on the crystal-clear water are especially popular among photography enthusiasts.
