17th Feb 2025: Disneyland Paris, Only Disney Resort in Europe

Disneyland Paris, located in Marne-la-Vallée, France, is the only Disney resort in Europe. Opened in 1992, it has grown into a major entertainment destination featuring two theme parks—Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park—as well as hotels and shopping areas.

Disneyland Park consists of five themed lands, similar to Disneyland in the United States. One of its most iconic features is Sleeping Beauty Castle, unique to Paris, with a massive dragon animatronic slumbering in its underground lair. Phantom Manor, a darker and more gothic take on the Haunted Mansion, offers a uniquely eerie storyline. Meanwhile, Space Mountain in Paris is an even more intense roller coaster, perfect for thrill-seekers. Additionally, Main Street, U.S.A. is designed with covered arcades, allowing visitors to move around comfortably even in cold weather.

Walt Disney Studios Park is dedicated to the world of film and animation. One of its most popular attractions is Ratatouille: The Adventure, an exclusive ride that shrinks guests to the size of a rat as they explore a Parisian kitchen. The park also features the newly opened Avengers Campus, where fans can experience rides themed around Spider-Man and Iron Man, making it a must-visit for Marvel enthusiasts.

The resort offers multiple accommodation options, including the luxurious Disneyland Hotel. In particular, its five-star renovation in 2024 provides an elegant and premium stay for visitors.
Disneyland Paris is also highly accessible, with the RER A train taking approximately 35 minutes from central Paris to Marne-la-Vallée - Chessy station, located right at the park’s entrance.

Combining Disney magic with French elegance, Disneyland Paris offers a truly unique experience, distinct from other Disney parks around the world. For any Disney fan, it is a dream destination worth visiting at least once.
