TOKYO Night & Light: World’s Largest Projection Mapping in Shinjuku - 18th June 2025

“TOKYO Night & Light” is a permanent projection mapping event held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, launched in 2024 as a new nighttime attraction in the city.

It has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest permanent projection mapping display on a building, covering an impressive area of 13,904.956 square meters.

In June, Hibiya Park enters a particularly beautiful season, when it is adorned with a rich variety of flowers under the gentle, soft light characteristic of early summer. The first to catch the eye are the roses, with numerous varieties reaching their peak bloom mainly in the First Flower Garden. Their vibrant colors—red, pink, and white—along with their delightful fragrance, offer great enjoyment to visitors. Hydrangeas, which are indispensable to the rainy season landscape, bloom gracefully along the pathways and in shaded areas. Their blue and purple blossoms become even more vivid when touched by the rain, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere of the park. There’s a Starbucks in Rancho Palos Verdes (Los Angeles, CA) that I will never forget. Nestled right in front of the vast Pacific Ocean, it offers a breathtaking view that makes every sip of coffee feel like a moment of peace.  What made it truly special were the evenings—watching the sun slowly sink into the horizon, painting the ocean in shades of crimson and gold. I remember sitting there, completely immersed in the beauty, feeling time gently slow down. It’s been nearly twenty years since that visit, but the memory remains vivid in my heart.
