Windsor Castle, situated approximately 35 kilometers west of London, is among the largest inhabited castles in the world. Its origins trace back to the 11th century, when William I established it as a fortress, and successive monarchs expanded and transformed it into a magnificent palace. St George’s Chapel, the spiritual home of the  Order of the Garter, has long hosted royal ceremonies and weddings, most notably the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in recent years.  Following a major fire in 1992, the castle was carefully restored, and it continues to serve both as a royal residence and as a venue for official events and tourism.  When the Royal Standard is flown above the Round Tower, it signifies that the monarch is in residence. With a history spanning nearly a millennium,  Windsor Castle endures as a living symbol of the British monarchy. Sagrada Familia The Sagrada Família is a Catholic church in Barcelona, Spain, designed by Antoni Gaudí. Construction began in 1882, and Gaudí devoted most of his life to the project, though it has continued after his death. Known for its unique style, the church features organic designs inspired by nature. It boasts three façades and 18 towers, and although it remains unfinished, it is expected to be completed in the late 2020s. The Sagrada Família stands as a World Heritage site, representing Gaudí's architectural vision, and has become one of the most iconic landmarks for visitors. It was my first visit in about ten years, yet the square welcomed me with the same timeless charm as before. I truly love the artistic beauty of European cityscapes. The Grand Place, located in the heart of Brussels, Belgium, is a square recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Surrounded by the magnificent Town Hall and guildhalls, its splendid scenery reflects the fusion of history and art that has endured since the Middle Ages.  By day, sunlight shimmers across the cobblestones, while at night the illuminated façades create a magical atmosphere that captivates all who visit. Each summer, the celebrated “Flower Carpet” transforms the entire square into a breathtaking sea of vibrant blossoms.
