29th Aug 2025: Hibiya Park in Chiyoda Tokyo

Image
In summer, Hibiya Park is beautifully adorned with flowers that capture the essence of the season. In the flowerbeds, begonias and marigolds bloom in abundance, their vibrant colors creating a lively and cheerful summer atmosphere. Around Shinji Pond, the reflection of lush greenery and blossoms on the water brings a refreshing sense of coolness, offering a soothing escape for those strolling through the park. Although August often brings intense heat, taking breaks in the shade or near the fountain plaza while enjoying the seasonal flowers is highly recommended.  Nestled in the heart of the city, Hibiya Park is a serene and harmonious space where visitors can truly feel the vitality of summer and the beauty of nature. 21st Aug 2025: Tokyo Tower from The Sky Lobby at Azabudai Hills

Image
The Sky Lobby at Azabudai Hills is a panoramic observation space located on the 33rd and 34th floors of the Mori JP Tower, Tokyo’s newest landmark. Situated approximately 250 meters above ground in Azabudai, Minato Ward, the Sky Lobby offers sweeping views of iconic sights such as Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge, and Roppongi Hills. From this vantage point, Tokyo Tower appears below eye level—an extraordinary perspective rarely experienced from other observation decks. If you have the chance to visit one of the restaurants or cafés within the tower, photography from the Sky Lobby is permitted and highly recommended. Which one is the real Lense?

Image
Lenses? Which one is the real one? One is a real lens, and the other is a tumbler. They are so intricately made that even I sometimes get confused. To be honest, I don't want to waste them, so I haven't used them yet. 7th Aug 2025: The Rainbow Bridge in Odaiba Tokyo

Image
The Rainbow Bridge, which connects Shibaura and Odaiba in Tokyo’s Minato Ward, is a stunning suspension bridge that opened in 1993. It serves not only as a vital piece of transportation infrastructure but also as a highly regarded element of the city’s landscape and a popular tourist attraction. Although its official name is the "Tokyo Port Connecting Bridge," the nickname "Rainbow Bridge" was chosen through a public contest and has since become widely recognized as one of Tokyo’s iconic landmarks. These photos were taken from the beach at Odaiba Marine Park, capturing the Rainbow Bridge as it gradually transformed with the setting sun and its evening illumination. Since I didn’t have a tripod with me, I used the park’s railing and my bag as makeshift supports to keep the camera steady and avoid blur. It’s an incredibly romantic place. 2nd Aug 2025: Crape Myrtle Flowers (Sarusuberi in Japanese) in Meguro Tokyo

Image
Snapped a picture of some beautifully blooming crape myrtle flowers.  In Japanese, the tree is called 'Sarusuberi,' which translates to 'monkey slip.' It got this name because its bark is so smooth and slippery that even a monkey—usually great at climbing—might lose its grip and slide down.  In English, it's called a crape myrtle, a name that likely comes from its crinkled petals, which resemble the delicate folds of crape fabric.
